Designed for High-Speed ABS Printing
Traditional ABS provides excellent mechanical properties, but modern high-speed printers require filament that can melt and flow consistently at much higher extrusion rates.
Creality Hyper ABS is formulated specifically for this environment.
Its improved flow characteristics allow compatible high-speed printers to produce ABS components more efficiently while maintaining consistent extrusion and good surface quality.
This makes Hyper ABS an excellent match for Creality’s latest high-performance enclosed printers.
Strong & Durable Functional Parts
Hyper ABS is designed for applications where the finished part needs to withstand real-world use.
Its combination of toughness and impact resistance makes it particularly useful for:
- Mechanical components
- Brackets and mounts
- Replacement parts
- Electronic housings
- Tools and fixtures
- Automotive components
- Workshop accessories
- Jigs
- Functional prototypes
- Production components
Improved Heat Resistance
One of the major advantages of ABS compared with standard PLA is its ability to tolerate higher temperatures.
This makes Hyper ABS a better option for components that may be exposed to warmer environments or operating conditions where ordinary PLA could begin to soften or deform.
It is particularly useful for functional parts, electronic enclosures, workshop equipment and selected automotive applications.
Excellent for Prototypes & Engineering
Hyper ABS is a useful material for rapid functional prototyping.
Instead of producing a prototype simply to check its appearance, ABS allows designers and engineers to create parts that can be assembled, handled and tested under more realistic conditions.
This makes it suitable for:
- Product development
- Engineering prototypes
- Fit and assembly testing
- Replacement components
- Short-run production
- Jigs and fixtures
Excellent Post-Processing
ABS is also well known for its post-processing versatility.
Finished parts can be:
- Sanded
- Drilled
- Cut
- Painted
- Glued
- Machined
- Acetone vapour smoothed
This makes Hyper ABS a good choice when the printed component requires additional finishing after printing.
Enclosed Printer Recommended
ABS contracts as it cools and is therefore more susceptible to warping and layer separation than PLA.
For the best results, we recommend using an enclosed 3D printer with a heated build plate.
An enclosure helps maintain a more stable temperature around the model and protects the print from drafts and sudden temperature changes.
Hyper ABS is particularly well suited to enclosed high-speed printers such as the Creality K1 and K2 series.
Ventilation Recommended
As with conventional ABS, Hyper ABS can release fumes and VOCs during printing.
Always operate the printer in a well-ventilated environment. For customers printing ABS frequently, an enclosed printer with suitable filtration or extraction is recommended.
Filament Storage
For consistent printing performance, keep Hyper ABS dry when it is not being used.
Store opened filament in a sealed container or vacuum bag with desiccant. If the filament has absorbed moisture, drying it before printing can help restore consistent extrusion and surface quality.

Why Choose Creality Hyper ABS?
The biggest reason to choose Hyper ABS instead of standard ABS is speed.
You retain the key advantages that make ABS useful for functional printing — toughness, impact resistance, improved temperature resistance and excellent post-processing — while gaining a formulation better suited to today’s high-speed printers.
For customers using enclosed Creality machines such as the K1 or K2 series for engineering, automotive or production work, Hyper ABS is a strong choice when standard PLA is not suitable for the application.
