Creality confirms the K2 SE’s 500mm/s speed, 20,000mm/s² acceleration, 300°C nozzle and 100°C bed, while the included CFS provides four filament slots, RFID recognition and automatic filament relay.

Multi-Colour Printing with CFS

The included Creality Filament System (CFS) transforms the K2 SE into an automatic multi-colour printing platform.

Load up to four compatible filament spools into the CFS and the printer can automatically switch between them during a print.

The K2 SE supports up to four CFS units. Since each CFS accommodates four filament spools, a fully expanded system can provide access to as many as 16 filament slots.

This means you can start with the included CFS and expand the system later as your printing requirements grow.

Intelligent RFID Filament Recognition

The CFS can automatically identify compatible Creality RFID filament.

When supported filament is loaded, the system can read filament information automatically, simplifying material management and reducing manual setup.

Automatic Filament Relay

Running out of filament doesn’t necessarily mean the end of your print.

If another compatible spool is available, the CFS supports automatic filament relay, allowing printing to continue using another spool.

This is particularly useful for:

• Long prints
• Overnight printing
• Production environments
• Using partially finished filament spools
• Reducing filament waste

Smart Filament Monitoring

Built-in CFS sensors monitor each filament path and can detect issues such as filament running out or becoming tangled.

Fast CoreXY Performance

The K2 SE uses a modern CoreXY motion system rather than a conventional moving-bed design.

With maximum printing speeds up to 500mm/s and acceleration up to 20,000mm/s², the K2 SE is designed to complete projects substantially faster than traditional entry-level printers.

Creality recommends a typical speed of around 300mm/s for reliable print quality, while the machine is capable of reaching 500mm/s when required.

CFS Material Compatibility

It’s important to distinguish between materials the printer can handle and materials suitable for feeding through the CFS.

• ASA
• PET
• PLA-CF

The CFS is not recommended for flexible TPU, damp BVOH/PVA or damaged/warped cardboard spools. TPU should therefore be fed directly to the printer rather than through the CFS.

Full Automatic Bed Levelling

The K2 SE features full automatic bed levelling, removing much of the manual adjustment traditionally required before printing.

Creality’s target-area levelling can focus measurements on the area actually being used for the print, helping reduce preparation time.

Optional AI Camera

An AI camera can be added to the K2 SE for smart print monitoring, live viewing and time-lapse recording.

Please note: the AI camera is an optional accessory and is not included as standard with the K2 SE Combo.
